Abstract

Crisis situations such as disasters in Karo result in changes to the lives of victims, often accompanied by sadness, fear, anxiety, and various other negative emotions that may be experienced differently by each individual, depending on their mental condition. Therefore, Art Therapy is needed as a form of psychological first aid to help individuals cope with disasters and to minimize the adverse effects on victims, particularly by reducing their anxiety. In this context, victims are invited to participate in a series of Art Therapy activities such as drawing, painting, creating artworks from modeling clay or playdough, collage (pasting pieces of paper), coloring objects, and others. Through these art therapy activities, the anxiety levels of natural disaster victims can be reduced.
